      <image:caption>Yummy Kale Salad Recipe: The Standard Spa teamed up with local organic produce company, Endlessly Organic, for a “Lessons in the Raw,” cooking demo. Members and guests enjoyed the culinary expertise of The Lido Restaurant and Bayside Grill.  Raw Kale Salad 4 c. Raw Kale 3 Tbs. Toasted Pine Nuts 3 Tbs. Golden Raisins ½ c. Shredded Carrots 3oz. Crumbled Goat Cheese ¼ c. Olive Oil 1/8 c. Apple Cider Vinegar Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper In a large bowl start by adding kale and shredded carrots along with olive oil and vinegar. Add 3 good pinches of fine sea salt and a few cracks of black pepper and proceed to work the dressing with your hands. You want the kale to become soft and deep green. Carrots will start to lightly wilt. Then add toasted pine nuts, raisins and goat cheese and lightly toss together. Divide the salad between 4 servings and serve immediately. Serves 4</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Happy Guru: A surprisingly fresh whiskey cocktail with raspberries and a hint of tarragon. It's solid whiskey base is softened and has an unexpected breath of fresh lemon making it perfect for less experienced whiskey drinkers. Ingredients: 1 3/4 oz Organic White Whisky Organic Raspberry Syrup Fresh Lemon Juice Tarragon Leaves Combine 3 tarragon leaves in mixing glass with whiskey, lemon juice and raspberry syrup (do not muddle the tarragon, it should be subtle.) Shake together and strain over ice. Garnish with sprig of tarragon and fresh blackberries. How to make Organic Raspberry Syrup: Soak fresh raspberries in simple syrup and keep refrigerated for 24 hours. Strain fresh fruit once infused.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Agua Fresca: Rose syrup is the hidden ingredient that adds a subtle yet essential layer to enhance the fresh basil. Juicy watermelon and lime is added to create complexity, and when prepared properly this is the perfect well-crafted mocktail.  Ingredients: 3 or 4 cubes of fresh cut Watermelon A1 1/2 oz Organic Rose Syrup (we use Royal Rose organic syrups)  Add chiffonade of Fresh Basil (about 2 large leaves) 1 oz fresh lime juice 6 oz Perrier Muddle fresh cut Watermelon and add the Organic Rose Syrup. Add fresh basil and lime juice, then top with Perrier. Shake vigorously. Garnish with a fresh basil leaf and watermelon cubes.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Aphrodite's Tonique: Hand pressed lemonade is freshened up by aromatic thyme and a hint of lavender. It's totally refreshing for the non-drinker.  Ingredients: Equal parts Fresh Lemon Juice Lavender Syrup Water Fresh pressed lemonade infused with fresh thyme and organic lavender lemon syrup (royal rose organic syrup.) Mix together lemon juice, lavender syrup and thyme and water. Pour lemonade mixture over glass of shaved ice. Garnish with fresh thyme and lemon wheel. Pineapple, Apple, Wheatgrass and Mint (PAWM) Juice 4 cups Fresh Pineapple Juice 4 cups Green Apple Juice 1 cup Wheatgrass Juice Small bunch of mint Juice pineapples and green apples. Set aside but reserve about 3 cups of mixture to place in a blender. To this you will add about 8 oz. of whole wheatgrass and leaves of 1 small bunch of mint. Blend juice, wheatgrass and mint. Once a pulp has formed and wheat grass and mint have been pureed pass through a chinos fin. Mix this juice to what you have reserved. Mix thoroughly and consume immediately.</image:caption>
